Making your own granola at home is both easy and fun, and with hemp seeds it takes on a fine nutty note. The hemp seeds give a mild, nutty flavour and a tender bite. This granola also contains almonds and maple syrup, which give a lovely crunch and sweetness. You can easily adapt the recipe by adding your favourite fruit, for example dried cranberries or apricots.
Ingredients:
- 5 dl oats
- 1 dl almonds, roughly chopped
- 0.5 dl hemp seeds
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- A pinch of salt
- Dried fruit, if desired
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 175 degrees.
- Mix the oats, almonds, hemp seeds and salt in a large bowl.
- Melt the coconut oil together with the maple syrup and mix with the dry ingredients until everything is coated.
- Spread the mixture out on a baking tray and toast in the oven for 20 minutes, or until the granola is golden. Stir halfway through.
- Let the granola cool and then mix in any dried fruit.
