Making your own granola at home is both easy and fun, and with hemp seeds it takes on a fine nutty note. The hemp seeds give a mild, nutty flavour and a tender bite. This granola also contains almonds and maple syrup, which give a lovely crunch and sweetness. You can easily adapt the recipe by adding your favourite fruit, for example dried cranberries or apricots.

Ingredients:

  • 5 dl oats
  • 1 dl almonds, roughly chopped
  • 0.5 dl hemp seeds
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • A pinch of salt
  • Dried fruit, if desired

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees.
  2. Mix the oats, almonds, hemp seeds and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Melt the coconut oil together with the maple syrup and mix with the dry ingredients until everything is coated.
  4. Spread the mixture out on a baking tray and toast in the oven for 20 minutes, or until the granola is golden. Stir halfway through.
  5. Let the granola cool and then mix in any dried fruit.
