Hemp seed milk – a plant-based milk made from hulled hemp seeds (not hemp flour). It's creamy, rich in protein and completely free from nuts, gluten and additives. Perfect for smoothies, coffee, porridge, or just to drink as it is!

Ingredients (approx. 1 litre):
  • 1 dl hulled hemp seeds

  • 8 dl cold water

  • 1–2 dates (optional, for sweetness)

  • 1 pinch of vanilla powder (optional)

  • A pinch of salt

(Optional: 1 tbsp cocoa for a chocolate variation or 0.5 tsp cinnamon)

Instructions:
  1. Place hemp seeds, water, dates, vanilla and salt in a high-speed blender.

  2. Blend for 30–60 seconds until completely smooth and white.

  3. Do not strain – hemp seeds are so small and fine that you don't need to strain them as you would with almond or oat milk (as long as you blend for long enough). However, if you want an extra-smooth milk, use a nut milk bag or a fine sieve.

  4. Pour into a glass bottle/jar and store in the fridge. Keeps for approximately 3–5 days.

Tips:

  • Shake before use – natural separation is normal.

  • No soaking time required!
