These pancakes are not only fluffy and delicious, but also packed with nutrients thanks to hemp seeds. Hemp seeds are an excellent source of protein that makes your pancakes even more filling and nutritious. This version is perfect for breakfast or brunch and can be topped with fresh berries, banana slices and maple syrup for an extra burst of flavour. Suitable for both children and adults!
Ingredients:
3 dl wheat flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1 dl hemp seeds
1 tsp vanilla powder
2 dl milk (or plant-based drink)
2 eggs
1 tbsp coconut oil (melted)
Maple syrup and fresh berries for serving
Instructions:
Mix flour, baking powder, hemp seeds and vanilla powder in a large bowl.
Whisk the eggs and mix in the milk in a separate bowl.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ones and mix until you get a smooth batter.
Heat a pan and grease with a little coconut oil. Fry the pancakes until golden on both sides.
